carson displays why sleep deprivation is such a bad idea for medical training...

of the remainder of the GOP; hopefully, bush is burnt toast... and the rest continue to fight amongst themselves (3 laps down)

Trump has begun his slide down in the poles and Carson too will fall leaving no one of interest in the republican roster...Basically the republicans opened the door for mrs Clinton shined her shoes and kissed her big ass. Good for them she's going to be a fair/good president better I'm sure than any of the republicans we were offered to choose from.

The only third party candidate to ever win was George Washington.. If you look into Washington and trump you will see they are very similar (in a bad way) so perhaps its not a stretch for trump to go independent.

Trump is the strutting fascist that the Republican rabble adore. He's got his finger right on the G-spot of the fidgeting ugly American psyche. He bellows out a lot of cocky, racist noise, and the mob is emboldened.

Dangerous man. He is a swaggering CEO... he doesn't even have the government experience that Bush had, so his interpretation of POTUS is being a dictator who never takes no for an answer.

Imagine foreign relations under this guy. "Fuck diplomacy! I'm the Donald! Arm the warheads! Putin can kiss my ass!"

Now that the actual election is less than 12 months away, things are starting to get serious. In the past day or two, some of the "establishment" GOP Candidates have said specifically that Trump will not be the GOP Nominee. Naturally, that should be something that a serious candidate says in the normal course of a campaign; however, Bush, Rubio, and I think it was Kasich, all seemed to say it with a certain level of confidence that I can only equate to something that would be said by more than one Bookmaker assuring you of a win, knowing that the "fix was in" on the opponent going down in the 7th round. Or, that they know the Judges, and how they are going to score a decision, no matter how bad the result. My opinion is that the GOP (Reince Priebus) has assured the establishment Candidates that Trump will not be the Nominee under any circumstance. There have been whispers on the street that the GOP is in the awkward position of Trump still leading by a substantial margin, as they, like the rest of us, have been awaiting the spectacular face plant/train wreck of "The Donald". Hasn't happened. But, just as much as the GOP has been anticipating Trumps fall from Grace, Trump has been anticipating GOP abandonment. The GOP Candidate will end up being a "fill-in-the-blank" establishment person, kinda doubtful it will be Carson, and Trump will be the first 3rd party candidate to out poll the GOP. The State Primaries will begin shortly and things will clear up soon enough, and we'll see how long Trump goes through the motions. He won't stick around for a "brokered convention" as it would be a waste of time for him. Do y'all have the red Starbucks cups? I think the minimalism is genius, almost in a Warhol kinda way...

You made no mention of where the PAC money backing will get behind. It won't be TRUMP.
It's PAC financing that wins the primarys and elections now.
I'm still gonna bet that Jeb/Rubio will get the GOP nod....The PAC money behind him will be at least several hundred million dollars. It will pander to the hispanic voters too.
Trump is way too shrewd to squander that much of his own money.
Most New Yorkers knew that Trump was a huge turd 30 years ago.
No matter how much money you have, you can only flood the media with your own rhetoic so much...the viewers will balk at the networks over saturation.
Perhaps that will be the closest we get to a 'Revolution' in this country barring the halting of social support checks arriving in the mail.

Dec 07, 2015, 22:29
A characteristically measured and proportionate reaction from Mr Trump.
