As for Scotland, despite the fact that my heart would love to see a "yes" vote, his explanation as to what a vote for independence would do to the economies of both countries offers a pretty compelling argument for us to be praying for a "no".

I won't pray for a 'no' - I'll be out there with bells on voting for it!
Saw GG during his Just Say Naw stuff at our town hall - his argument was compelling in terms of economics and at the same time resonated so much with so many of us as to why the 'heart' if it means anything would say 'no' also.
Nationalism is by nature the most divisive, insular, nasty minded, dangerous thing for humanity since our world's inception and is up there with religion when it comes to causing all the stuff that ruins us.
Ok ok 'we're not voting for that' Yes voters say but they are voting because 'someone else is to blame' and soon as problems crop up who's next?
That's what belief in your country does.
When it all goes wrong, how do you denounce your nationality?
You can't, and the scope for how grim it can get, is too much.
As it is most of the youngsters up here getting the vote think it's regressive rubbish and the fact there is an 'NHS for Yes' movement just makes me sick.
How dare they try to grab at something we all of us built up.
Nasty, nasty idiots.
Rant done!
And wish us luck:)
