The good thing about Ed is that as well as being more Socialist orientated, he's also relatively free off any New Labour/Brown taint. If he can engage the middle class, that would be wise, because when the strikes and protests start to happen, a large section of the British public
has an instinctive reaction in supporting the establishment, unfortunately.
