As someone with an 8 year old with severe - & potentially life threatening - peanut allergies I think you've raised a very good point. When our lad was a wee tot, he was given a hydracortozone creme by the local gp to combat eczema. Unknown to us at the time, the product was rich in peanut oils & we were later informed that this was the catalyst for the allergy beginning. Soft on peanuts then. wouldn't have anything to do with Governments being in the pocket of multi-national drug companies would it? Bastards. And they gripe about a bit of weed knocking about. I wonder if Blair & his cronies have ever seen an 8 year old fighting for breath & blue in the face 'cos there was a wee peanut extract in his school dinner.
