Well in Sunday school they teach you that Christ is supposed to be all sweetness and light. But then you hear about hypocritical Christian types who use their beliefs to justify outright cruelty against 'unbelievers' or 'communists'...

Yes, there was even a period of my life when I practiced Satanism in response to this hypocrisy. I'm not guilty about it at all, although maybe I realised this was a bit immature really. It does make me wonder about the victims of child-molesting priests... What's the worse crime, turning away from God or CAUSING people to turn away from God through your unjust actions?
