but 10% corportation tax??!! ffs, that is absurd. they're there now, be costly to move shop lock stock n barrel, so fuck it, tax the bastards.

Couldn't agree more!!!! However, I think a lot would move.
Dell and a few others had no problems closing down plants just after Sept 11 ....

Unfortunately the supermarkets don't tell their staff about it for obvious reasons. It's time to start with the education innit.
I buy with as little packaging as possible, but still can't get it down as low as I'd like. I reckon it's time to get a copy of the legislation and carry it around on shopping days.
Most shoe shops now will ask if you want the boxes (is that the same everywhere?), if not they put them into recycling bins. Pretty cool, especially as they probably get some money from them too.
