Price varies, but its about £750 with a lens. It comes with a battery charger and a long life battery, but you need a memory card and case so ain't gonna get much change from £800. Worth it though and it seems to be good value for money especially when you see other digitals up in the £1,000's. Maybe if I flog my dad's old Leica?

>Maybe if I flog my dad's old Leica?< Nah, don't do that. Think I'll hang on for six months and see what the price is second-hand, or... gonna be in Japan for my son's wedding in April, will check out what the price is there. Orders being taken now folks :-) Commission very reasonable :-).

yeh, it looks like a decent camera - smaller than my wallet (especially now!) so I can carry it around all the time. I wanted to get 7 megapixels so that I could get the highest resolution pics before the prices start going silly. the Sony's just come down to 200 quid, which is alright. just I saw the filter adapters - there's also a wide angle lens which could be interesting too. I think I'll still use my SLR when I'm taking a bag cycling or walking, but having a pocket-sized camera is what I wanted too Cheers Andy

20 years with an Olympus OM20 have just come to an end with a tiny Nikon digital, no more processing costs yippee!! You know it makes sense as soon as you start using one. It doubles up as a scanner/copier too - and I think it can cook...... ggd
