I am not in favour of Tarmac or the quarry people at Stanton Moor (or any others) digging "sacred landscapes".
I agree that unsurprisingly Tarmacs' tame archaeologist has a certain slant to his view of the areas' importance.
What I am saying is I'd rather somewhere was dug by Tarmac's archaeologist than by badgers or Pixie.......

There are good and bad archaeologists out there, don't tar them all with the same brush. Most are in archaeology for the love of it, there's not much money to be had! :-)
