Might be a bit of a quibble as to exactly how old the Giant is. Be interesting to see if they mention that.

Likewise, I would have missed it too, so ta for that :-)
My TV guide has Avebury and Maiden Castle. It also says it is part 2 of 4. Did anybody see the first one?

Watch out for me & Notd! They were filming The Cove stone being moved last month.
They interviewed Mike Pitts & Ronald Hutton.

I think they mean that it's the second of a series of four progs this week all called 'Britain's Finest' and taking the tired (pun intended) and tested Top 10 format (or Top 12 in this case)

Mon was 'Stately Homes'
Thurs is 'Finest Gardens'
Fri is 'Finest Castles'

I won't spoil it for people who don't want to know the 12 - look on the Ch5 website if u wanna know http://www.channel5.co.uk/home/frameset/?content=97743&

NB - It includes 3 Roman sites but the rest are 'ancient'

Bugger! I must have missed you. I thought you might have been at the bottom of Silbury shouting at them to get off the hill ;-)
