Quarry is fantastic. And I'm quite prepared to say when things aren't good (Kill Uncle, Maladjusted)

It's an *expensive* night out to see a band without their singer. Hats off to Deacon for staying at home.

I;m not getting snooty Lemon i just think it's very sad that they should still be playing under the name Queen. In my opinion neither of them have enough talent to go it on their own. If people want to see them that's fine. xx

But, the Radio 1 playlist improved in the post Dave Lee "wack wack oops" Travis/ Mr. Bates period....and they had some fine comedy in the evening (Chris Morris, Armando Iannccii,Mark and Lard) The NME was worth buying for only 75p and didn't smell of shit.like what it does now .The Pops was presented by Julian Cope, and The Spin Doctors were making us all smile with "Two Princes" Sheeeit, beam me back to 2005, NOW!

I think I'd rather hear it with just the laptops and the squeaky voice, to be honest. That's why I prefer "Kid A".

Come on, lets have a Pastels thread - Pavement, Beat Happening, and loads more wouldn't have existed without 'em I reckon.
