On the subject of supergroups with names made up of their initials David Coverdale turned down the once in a lifetime chance to join Paice Ashton and Lord because the initials could spell CLAP.
Of course he subsequently invited most of the group into Whitesnake but failed to take the opportunity to rename the group CRAP!
