What a pack of curs the Brexit MEPs are. Watching the flag waving dogs jeering while our EU friends were singing Auld Lang Syne had to be the most nauseating spectacle I have ever witnessed. These effing bastards are beyond forgiveness.

I completely agree. It made me feel thoroughly ashamed to be British.
But, just to be clear, we were all looking at BREXIT MEP's here. Many other British MEP's were in the main audience, singing with tearful faces.

Keir Starmer - talking sense. Times will change again - we are one planet, that includes the beleaguered Palestine and even Iran. Trump won't always be president of the US and as Keir Starmer points out, come 2024 there will be no 'leave' or 'remain' constituencies. Emotional though it all feels today, it really really is time to move forward working towards a less car-culture and a fairer more compassionate society. I long for the day (not in my lifetime) when a fast expensive car is no longer a status symbol and Nature reclaims the motorways. People, if they still exist, a couple of millennia hence in an internetless world will be pondering on what all those straight lines and round circles meant.

Sorry June, rest assured that in about 50 years I will be reconciled to the damage Brexit voters have done to me, my family, my country and themselves, not to mention, by making us Trump's lackeys, world peace and climate warming.
