Hear hear!

I couldn't agree more. The assumption that a 'green' lifestyle involves buying different forms of the same products is a consumerist smokescreen and a shocking self-deception. To be fair, green products have their place, but surely a responsible lifestyle requires us to consume less, full stop.

It's not easy though. Like Burroughs said, consumerism is just another addiction.
