There is a real possibility that millions of people have been suckered into a climate change ideology albeit for all the right altruistic reasons; but have inadvertently ended up as pawns to be manipulated at will by profit driven corporations and controlling governments
Ironically, if we do all the stuff that's 'meant to help the planet' corporations will actually see a massive reduction in their profits.
You don't have to buy Monbiot books or any special gizmos - use less, you spend less, and you have more money over for yourself and less for them!
Brilliant no brainer. Stuffs it to them big style.
The way I see it is there'd be cleaner air if there were less lazy gits and more people using their blimmin legs for a change, and I'd like to see less landfill/more recycling just because the place might 'smell and look' nicer for one, and any major benefits to the planet well, yeah, nice one.
Will hardly make the place worse, will it?
