I'd suggest one of the last two weekends in July.
ISTR that's a 'traditional' time for HA'ers to get together, right Jane? ;-)

Got a horrible feeling I being asked to organize this Megameet =(:-o)
Can't we just let it grow 'organically' - fix on a date for the end of July/beginning of August that's best for most of us and take it from there. Will give it to the end of the month for some kind of consensus to emerge then I'll fix it with a, "I'm gonna be on Wadden Hill from noon on xx with six bottles of premium grade sake, fresh rolls, coleslaw and a roast chicken - be there or be square." (and bring your own chicken and drinks :-)

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread for a date, see if we can make a visit coincide. I like the idea of picnicking on Waden Hill (or Windmill Hill).

Happy New Year to you all!
i am back from India and just about over whatever I picked up on the dirty streets of Delhi.....
The summer seems a long way off as I look out of the window onto rain sodden fields and gray skies but...
....I would love to get together for a day, preferably earlier in the season than later, by August the roads into and out of Cornwall will be chock a block and it could take me a day to reach Wiltshire! Midsummer is no good as I will be celebrating Mazey Day in Penzance, so early July is best for me.
Whatever happens i will try my best to make it.
