Well, don't know why I'm posting this, but last year at this time a friend and I spent a week traipsing about Dartmoor National Park with an OS map, and a compass.
Man, on one day we found the Greyweathers (which has to be one of the coolest spots going in terms of atmosphere), and we pitched our tent right in the middle of the eastern circle.
There were hardly any clouds around that night, the moon and stars were out in full.
Wow, it had to be one of the better nights of my life for sure.
Highly recommended as a place to lay your head for an evening. I had excellent dreams as well!
