I didn't think I was the only one that found Dartmoor to be a unique place on the planet.

Great story Morfe! There really is something special about the whole area, and we must have come across at least 10 sites while we were there.

It's one of those places where the atmosphere is so thick, and yet so calm. I could literally feel something deeper, I don't know, something that went straight to my neurons! Crazy.

We met only one other group of people the entire time we were hiking around, and they asked us if we were "letterboxing".

It was one of those situations where I couldn't even attempt to explain why we were there.

So instead of some eloquent reply, I said "Nope, just walking around, seeing the sites", which probably confused them even more!

Ha! Ha! Viva Dartmoor! The next big trip has to be Callanish!
