Pete Glastonbury says that he moved to *Avebury* because he couldn't cope with the sheer number of monuments etc in Dartmoor - thousands and thousands apparently

says something when you have to move to Avebury to get a break from the neolithic ...

anyway, what about the Chilterns?!? Strange how Chequers is slap bang in the middle of a load of hillforts ...
