This has probably been talked about on here before but I missed it... the whole Flying Teapot/Radio Gnome trilogy thing and Floating Anarchy Live '77 are great albums! What's up with Cope?

Well each to their own, I suppose. It's clear from various comments in 'Krautrocksampler' and elsewhere that the Canterbury Scene and related stuff doesn't really float Julian's boat. He obviously hates Henry Cow for example. He does admit to owning 'Continental Circus' however. How he can dig that and not dig the likes of 'Camembert Electrique' and 'You' though, I don't really understand. But as I say, each to their own. Maybe you would care to enlighten us, Julian?

sorry to disappoint you, I'm not Julian; to me, the distinction is self-evident: Continental Circus is one of the only Gong albums that *rocks*, the rest *wobbles*, sometimes verging on the edge of a decaffeinated (and, for me, quite annoying), 'jazzy' drone, which he is known to hate too.

yes, 'you' is the best, although the others are still worth a listen , but dont have as much musical voyaging..

I recently rediscovered my vinyl of Angel's Egg and You..taped both and they've been getting many plays..More times in the last few months then I ever played them in all the years they've lurked in my collection Much quirkier and psychy then I remembered Like to get them on cd at some point..vinyl is in good shape, but it would be nice to get the full experience, unblemished
