I did actually say that many of the vocalists I like are not what anyone would call 'good' singers DF. Indeed many I dig many of the vocalists you list. Its just that the particular noise Nick Cave makes when he opens his mouth is, regardless of technical proficiency, to my ears...a fucking horrible atonal death dirge and it makes me wince. Can't help it. Don;t like carrots either.
