A wonderful edition. Been really enjoying these Copes Notes, and this has been the best so far. Got back in contact with my best mate from school around the time of the original album's release, and when we met up, I think said mate was worried that things might've changed. So, in my local pub he said "Are you still into Cope?" (When we left school, it was '89, so a bit of a surreal part of Cope discography)
"yeah"
"So you have Black Sheep?"
"Yep"
...the rest of the evening and the near 15 years since, has been like old times, music, and lots of other topics, but reading through the booklet and listening to the brilliant cd, brought back many happy memories, and like the mighty Julian, the near-40 year friendship is as good as it's ever been. Drunken Songs, Self Civil War, England Expectorates... wonderful albums.
Can't wait for the next installment, but I'm assuming it won't be My Nation Underground...
