Cope said that 'Kilimanjaro' LP was originally recorded with Mick Finkler on guitar, paid for by Bill Drummond and that Drummond has a copy of it.

When Phonogram signed The Teardrop Explodes, the album was remixed with Alan Gill redoing Mick Finkler's guitar parts.
