Even though I'm of Scottish descent, I have to say bagpipes. I can take only about 30 seconds until an aneurysm starts to develop.

I'm highly allergic to saxophones - I can almost appreciate the skill in some cases but even in the very best circumstances they still sound awful

Guess I am on the way to this allergy. Listening to Fenix by Gato Barbieri in the car lately, actually a good album but at some point the sax sound worked on my last fucking nerve, just the sound not the playing. Had to switch to what comes next on USB: Herbie Hancock - good stuff
To cure I recommend Mel Collins on Earthbound
