Is that the thing that sounds like someone brushing their teeth?

If you search 'I Love The 1970s - The Stylophone' you'll find a clip from a BBC nostalgia program, narrated by Jimmy Saville, showing Rolf Harris promoting the stylophone. Surely, that sort of association should be enough to put anybody off?

The Stylophone sounds a bit like Mickey Mouse Canterbury, Mike Ratledge(?), it is not that bad - but crappy enough. :)

I also really dislike the sound of the ukulele. It's just so f**ing perky. Seems to have made quite the comeback over the last decade or so. There are so many more interesting and expressive small stringed instruments out there. Why would anyone have a ukulele when they could have something far more interesting like a balalaika, or a baglamas?

Baglamas rules, ukulele sucks.
