I'm not the one to ask, this is my first exposure to Low. I need to catch up on The Great Destroyer!

The bloke in our local record shop got me onto this one, and he's recommended I go for TGD next :)

I would try and get hold of the rarities 4 disc 'Lifetime of Temporary Relief'. It pre- and post dates the TGD but it's really good, very different and very interesting and does not include any of the album track versions of songs. All of the tracks are relatively obscure and were never before released or were limited edition early label singles. The DVD is also really good. The whole thing is a great piece of work and a great introduction to the band

Pretty much all of them. Certainly their three most recent...

Yeah me too! First time I played it was on my pc and the electronic bits drowned everything else out to such an extent that I thought I had a faulty copy, but I played it elsewhere and was able to appreciate it properly! Great tunes that already seemed familiar on second play, interesting arrangements and - of course! - beautiful singing from Alan and Mimi

Sigh. I feared that would be the case.

Love it. Love them. Not so keen on the two before tbt, but GD is top.
