I know. I was a stupid boy. I must have figured Pere Ubu's psych garage band components could only be enhanced. I had not bargained on the Prunes though. All that stuff with wedding dresses and baby dolls did my head in.


haha! Yes, well remembered, that was the one I was at too - also chemically enhanced but with smokables rather than acid. Blimey that must have been quite an experience!


I was convinced the Prunes were doing it AT me. That it was a personally directed wind-up. Pere Ubu were a blessed relief after that. The evening was topped off with a midnight screening of Polanski's The Tenant in a double bill with Performance. Those were the days!
