Golden Void – Berkana. This sounded pretty great on first listen – muscular, to-the-point psych rock with the emphasis on the rock (no tracks online yet, but you can never get enough of this as far as I’m concerned: https://goldenvoidtj.bandcamp.com/track/rise-to-the-out-of-reach)

Hills – Frid. Also decent, more Goat-like psych from Sweden, but minus the crazy mama vocals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeJjVxdfjPk

Cold Showers – Matter of Choice. This on the other hand was not good, but Cold Showers is a great name for a bunch of drizzly electro-goths.

Taste – s/t. From the upcoming I’ll Remember boxset. I know practically nothing of Rory Gallagher’s music, and not sure if this is the best introduction, but it has its moments. On saying that, I don’t think blues rock on its own really does it for me unless there are other prog/psych/proto-metal elements mixed in.

BEAK – BEAK/KAEB EP. Really liking this. Highly recommended, particularly if you despair of ever hearing ‘modern’ music that’s pushing things a bit, but isn’t shit: http://www.invada.co.uk/blogs/news/39141761-watch-all-4-videos-from-beak-kaeb-ep
