Re: Kinski - For me, two albums stand out. 'Airs Above Your Station' from 2003, and 'Alpine Static' from 2005, both on Sub Pop. 'Down Below It's Chaos' is a close 3rd.
They do remind me of early (Instrumental) Electralane quite a lot in approach.

Played 'Airs' to death on release, and it still gets above average spins. Great record

Albums got heavier (as in more metal) as they progressed through the years. Mostly instrumenal freak outs with the odd cringe worthy lyric here and there. They do the locked in and loud/quiet thang pretty well. Did a collab with AMT that was a bit hit and miss - for me this was the best track..it's a dronealthon..
