Jastreb - Mother Europe. Side project of the guy from Seven That Spells, similar driving proggy space rock.

Grumbling Fur - Preternaturals. Much touted teaming of Daniel O'Sullivan and Alexander Tucker, but while pleasant and mildly diverting, isn't a patch on the last Mothlite album or some of Tucker's solo stuff.

To Rocco Rot - Instrument. New album from old school German electronica types (and two thirds of Tarwater), some nice stuff, though the vocal tracks are a bit ho hum.

Cardiacs - Sing To God. Ok, i admit it, I've never sat down and listened to a whole Cardiacs album before... It requires you to re-adjust your brain somewhat, but for all the looney toons stuff, there's something like 'Fiery Gun Hand', which is great.

Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality. Just finished reading the 33 1/3 book on this (more on which in a separate post when i'm back from holiday). Sabbath are just something else...

Vatican Shadow - Kneel Before Religious Icons

Hedvig Mollestad Trio - Enfant Terrible

Jeff Wayne - 'Horsell Common and the Heat Ray'. I don't do guilty pleasures...
