First album by the ex-Cucumbers singer Deena Shoskes since Somewhere In Blue, back in early 2009. Some strong C&W-ish numbers.

Dr Robert Plays Acoustic Blow Monkeys - Dr Robert
Want to hear some Blow Monkeys classics (from early numbers like Man From Russia and Limping For A Generation to later dancey tracks such as Choice? And It Pays To Belong, taking in the Diggin’ Your Scene and It Doesn't Have To Be This Way hits along the way) performed unplugged by their singer and songwriter, Dr Robert? Probably not in the case of most folk here, but I really like this bonus disc that accompanied their rather good 2013 LP, Feels Like A New Morning.

One of those albums that I buy, listen to once and will probably never bother to play again.

New Wave – V/A
Late 70’s LP that featured The Damned, Ramones, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Richard Hell, alongside a couple of bands who had appeared pre-punk (New York Dolls and The Runaways).
