Who's Fit In Rock n Roll?
Oct 29, 2002, 18:57
OK, by way of (completely unsexist) balance:

Diana Krall (alright, she's jazz, but who cares with pins like that).

Dido.

Linda Ronstadt (circa 1978, not now).

Maureen and Linda out of the Nolans (circa 1981).

Jackie Fox (Runaways, circa 1976).

and, not in rock n roll, but well worth mentioning:

Linda Thorson (The Avengers, circa 1968...jeez)

This post was not written my me.

This is irrelevant to the thread, but I'm wondering if MonkeyBoy is the son of the infamous Monkey Man from the reggae great of the same title.

Unlikely, but you never know...

Me you? Obviously not, cos I'd throw Diana Rigg out of bed to get to Linda Thorson. Well, after an hour or so, anyway. But as ever Joolio, you show excellent taste, War Of The Worlds notwithstanding.

And while we're drooling over sixties' TV babes, I'd also like to nominate Annette Andre (Randall and Hopkirk Deseased) and Alexandre Bastedo (The Champions). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am quite ashamed of myself for starting this thread. But after all the ugliness that MonkeyBoy encouraged, I thought a bit of glamour wouldn't go amiss. And Vybik - what's wrong with Dido?

Almost forgot - the late, but very lovely, Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched. And Julie Newmar - as Catwoman, natch.

Phwoor. Etc.
