Does anyone remeber Daphnie & Celeste. They were marketed as adolescent school girl audience orientated pap. They were really in their mid 20s. Thank fuck for that as I found myself fancying Celeste while watching TOTP.

Cheers Anthony for resurrecting a thread I wish I hadn't started - but if you must...
All this unsavoury talk about media schoolgirls reminds me of Sally James during the 'Pop Personality Pass the Pie' sequence of Tiswas. As I recall she would adorn herself in a schoolgirl uniform avec a very short skirt, fishnets and sussies, before being pelted with fake (and suitably white coloured) custard. Hmmm.

was on one of those nostalgia programmes a while back, still looked worth buying a drink for. had the air of experienced older woman about her.
...meanwhile back onto the schoolgirls, whatever happened to Shampoo, aren't they supposed to be big in Japan?
