That Left Banke comp is real hard to get these days too. It certainly blew my mind and melted my heart and all the more surprisingly as I was in the throws of an intense garage-rock phase at the time.
I've also read that Ars Nova's first album is in a similar vein - I've only heard Fields Of People (which I checked out after hearing The Move's elongated version from Shazam - which does feature mightly proto-Sabs riffing on the choruses). It's definitely baroque in feel but I'd Youtube it first as the vocals may be a little mock-courtly for some tastes.
