All the above 4 albums seem related, at least in my head. Been revisiting this period of my listening and re-assessing a bit, particularly since re-reading Hunter's article on Lodger.

The Heads - Inner Space Broadcasts Vol 1 Part 1
Really great this, can't get enough of it.

Mountains - Centralia
This is gorgeous. Reminds me in places of No Pussyfooting era Fripp/Eno.
