are they still speaking to each other?

Doggen was in fine form with Spiritualized recently, which is probably bad news on the Duir follow up front

Was he playing guitar or keyboards?

Love that era of JC related projects - Duir, Dogntank, TC etc. 07 was the last year I have been excited by new music from Cope and his fellow travellers. Then again there have longer lulls in form before now. I remain hopeful!

Guitar only. lots of e-bow, sure someone bought Jason a best of Bowie for xmas, couple of links from the Spiz if you want a listen

bloody awful turnout [and elsewhere I've heard] packed out the Sage for the LAGWAFIS show, barely a quarter if that show up for the new stuff

their loss, lightweight guardian review reading tossers ;-)

Cheers! On the gospelesque unplugged shows a few years back he was just playing keys so would be nice to hear Doggen getting adventursome on the guitar and on non LAGWAFIS material. Strange there was a bad turn out. Then again I am not even sure I knew he was touring that widely let alone that there was a Roundhouse show which I could have gone to. And I am on their mailing list! Maybe I am being punished for not buying the box set ....

I had to give my Albert Hall tickets away so not a total lightweight ;-)

I'm supposedly on the mailing list and I didn't get a thing either, think it was a Sage e-mail, thanks for the reminder must see if that box has gone to a sensible price yet.
btw if you have a spare hour check this out

the bit where the choir kicks in with 'Wise Men yadda yadda' still gets me every time

I will, thanks. Playing it now or at least until Celtic kick off. I forgot that this was during his Daniel Johnston phase. Thinking of your Bowie comment there is something of that Paul Weller "this year I shall be mainly channeling Curtis Mayfield / Steve Winwood / Pete Townshend" thing about JP. Still one of my favourite artists / bands though. He still has plenty of credit in the good records vs poor records account.
