Saw it last night. Thankfully it was loud. Very. The projectionist was up for accommodating the requests of a chap sat near us, who popped into the booth for a word.
The new and rather sophisticated Old Market Hall digital cinema has a good PA that responds very well to being pushed. It's usually set at number four for very good clarity and filling the room, but last night went up to 7.
It was a really good set. And nice to hear Plant crediting the blues players of old for inspiration. Sadly, no referrence was made to Spirit when introducing 'Stairway To Heaven', though. That aside, highlights for me were 'Trampled Underfoot', 'Kashmir' and 'Misty Mountain Hop'. All proper goosebump inducing stuff. Glassy eyed and grinning. Calamity Kid was very impressed, but his girlfriend was rather quiet afterwards. Our ears were ringing, I might add.
