Newish stuff:

Gravenhurst - The Ghost In Daylight. Like it but it does all seem to be on a level, no light and shade. All a bit... samey?

Belbury Poly - Belbury Tales. This I love. A completley different sound to his other stuff, funky folky prog! Not sure how he managed it but that is what it sounds like. Recommended.

Amebix - Sonic Mass. Many thanks to Fatalist for flagging this up. My album of last year too.

The Night - Sula Bassana. Another winner. Space Rock from Germany. Whats not to like?

Mike Wexler - Dispossession. Oh yes. Get this to. More folk informed progginess.

Ancient Stuff:

Wipers - Land of the Lost, Over the Edge.
Van Der Graaf - The Quiet Zone. Surely everyone should own this? Seems to get better as the years roll by.
Trader Horne - Morning Way. Second division folk that I have an inexplicable attachment to.
The Divine Comedy - Regeneration.
Stray - Saturday Morning Pictures.
Steeleye Span - The Lark In The Morning.
Slowdive - Souvlaki. My highlight of all the shoe gazing guff.
Nova Mob - Last Days of Pompeii.
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Back My Bullets, Street Survivors. Peerless.
Jethro Tull - Loads of stuff. Don't think they released a duff track until '75.
Anne Briggs - The Time Has Come. The original rebel.
