Klaus Schulze - La Vie Electronique 1 & 3 most of my listening has been to these, wonderful listening, especially Vol3, looking forward to vols 2,4 & 5 by which time I suspect Schulze will have swallowed up all my listening time

Hmm. Might have to check these out.

I've got 1 thru 7 (or is it 8?) and would say for a Schulze fan these are essential.
Especially the early ones. Just great stuff!

Marvellous comp.

I love that this is on Spotify. Could easily use up my allowance just bunging it on random at work. Kinda miss inflicting this on my workmates (it's all headphones at this place)

I've got this somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and give it another try. I think I was initially put off by the over familiarity of some tracks due to use in ads. I know it brings in much needed money to the artist, but I still wish they wouldn't do it.

I thought this was a recent compilation? Have I got that wrong?

It is really good though. I love the live recordings on it especially, perhaps because I wasn't familiar with those.

The one I've got is called 'A Brief History'(2001) and is on Virgin, so it may be different. I'll have to give it another go anyway.

Ah, OK. The one isn't brief - it's a 4 CD set! Nonetheless, I reckon you'd enjoy PCO. I love listening to them on a sunny day myself. There's something so uppy and vibrant about them. And wistful too.

I'll give them a blast this afternoon.

Isotope 'Isotope' - coming across like a second division Mahavishnu Orchestra in places, but with enough heart within its jazz-rock grooves to leave a smile on the face

Know what you mean. Saw Gary Boyle once and whilst not quite up there it was very enjoyable and definitely left a smile on the face.

Aereogramme 'Sleep & Release' - sophomore full-lengther from Scotland's most missed post-rock combo. I love the shocking contrast between Craig B's heartfelt crooning and grindcore grunting here.

Just back from half-term hols which included a few trawls of the 2nd hand shops. Picked this up but not listened as yet.

Like this as well. Seems to be the only work of her released.
