Regarding Make Do & Mend 2 - it's one of the few things i've played this week ( along with MD&M 1 ) - gotta say the never officially released, kinda minimally funky Can-like jam by Vangelis (The Dragon ) is a revelation.

Well, it is for someone who's only really aware of his later synthy soundtrack stuff and his collaborations with Jon Anderson which, putting it mildly, do nothing for me.

Must try and check out more of his early 70's work ( er, and Aphrodite's Child too, who i've only heard the odd thing by )

I bet the track's a one off, mind !

A thoroughly splendid Krautrock compilation album that even the kids love. Hasn't left the car stereo yet more or less since it was bought.

Er, having just checked out the opening to The Dragon again, gotta say the violin really put me in mind of J-C Vannier.
