Yes, I believe that Traffic are overlooked: respected, yes, but not loved enough. Their first three albums (and early singles) are psychedelic classics (even the record company compiled 'Last Exit'); 'John Barleycorn' is a magisterial blend of rock, folk and jazz, quite unlike anything else in their canon; and 'Low Spark', the mega-underrated 'Shoot Out' and 'When The Eagle Flies' have some awesome, endless songs on them, especially the continents of sound that are 'Roll Right Stones', 'Dream Gerrard' and the title track of the first-named. The two live albums are a bit patchy, but still worth hearing, and the 1994 return 'Far From Home' is a far better LP than I ever dared hope at the time.
