Hmm, don't know about that. Many car players allow for - and indeed identify discs formatted for data and containing MP3 files. I have noticed scratches appearing on the playing side of CDs in our current Calamity Wagon.

In fact a proper CD by Jackknife Lee has been rendered unplayable, now. I'm hoping that when I get round to it I can get my pooter to read (and rescue) the tracks for at least running on iTunes.
