The first three albums by The Pursuit of Happiness. It's singer/songwriter stuff disguised as metal/hard rock/power pop. But it's still great. Better than Warren Zevon when it comes to this mostly bad idea of a genre.

Wreckless Eric rules. Absolutely nothing to feel guilty about there. The Spice Girls...now there's a guilty pleasure.

Bauhaus - Mask. The lyrics are pretentious but I still love it! Prince - Dirty Mind. Filthy dirty lowdown funky perversion. Neil Young - Weld

hey Bohdan I agree with you it goes beyond a mere pop album. It holds up not just nostalgia for the eighties. The whole guilty part comes in when I bring it up in conversations about music, it practically gets shouted down! What fools...

I don't feel guilty listening to high land hard rain superb album but do still get lots of pleasure from it. I do have a lot of stuff i still enjoy that no doubt a lot of people think is crap but my only guilty pleasure is travis which i don't own but find myself singing along to when i hear them the reason i don't own this is divorce has been threatened if a travis album enters our house ( it is tempting sometimes) ;) love carolinexx

I dont feel quilty listening to it either. Just that my "alternative listening' freinds have a cow about it. I would rather listen to it than Stockhausen or Tortoise.
