He did a Peel Session, too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/johnpeel/sessions/1980s/1988/Nov13philhartley/ Only track I remember though is Purchase Nicely, which was pretty good iirc.

Ahh, Bogshed. Mike the bass player is still a Hebden Bridge resident and a formidable artist - he did all the murals in the local health centre, thankfully not in the style of his Bogshed sleeves. Guitarist Mark lives in Huddersfield I believe, Tris the drummer was last heard of in Leamington Spa (after stints playing with Jackdaw With Crowbar and A Witness), and Phil Hartley is apparently still in Liverpool. Apparently he disowns the band's catalogue as some youthful folly and refuses to allow it to be reissued.

I just got a gig from Dime. Haven't listened to it yet cos computer usage slugged out by me creating dvds. Looks pretty long with pretty good tracklisting though.

Wiggy wrote: Sorry Sir John.=;0( How did The Frog Chorus make you feel? Not as bad as the woeful awfulness of Mull Of Kintyre, that's for certain. Macca is hip to any language anyone wants to speak. Forgive him if he feels the need to top up his bank balance from time to time. I do, you should, too. Without the Beatles, we'd all be dressing in grey and have a worm's eye view of the world like our grandparents.
