Not sure what you mean by realistic apprectiation. Appreciation is appreciation, it's always realistic.

My opinion is my opinion. Just because a cd has been released that I don't like doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the work that's gone into it. Just because a cd's been released doesn't mean that I have to like it either!

I've been listening to Cope's music for a very long time now and I've not been impressed with any of his recent outpourings. You may be, but that's your personal taste, your opinions are your opinions, mine are mine. They're not any less, but they are equally as valid!
Please don't see them as anything less!
