I'd go for the SPV reissue of Solar Music Live. They are a little like Gentle Giant in that they are another band that didn't always get the excitement of their live show to transfer to the studio. A live record can give you a better sense of what they were trying to do musically - even if you are doing it "blind" without the theatricality. Ballerman is pretty great though.
