As far as the first actual LP I bought, it was Budgie - In For The Kill. Before that I had only bought tapes, and I think the first would have been one of the Led Zeppelin albums (I started out with the 4th one, but I stole that tape from the local library when a kid, so that doesn't count as a first buy!)
