First album I was given: Prince-Purple Rain

Got it for Xmas in 85, I was 8 and I still remember hearing the word 'masturbation' in Darlin' Nikki and thinking, "I wonder what that means, I'll have to look it up." but I never did. I don't know why Tipper Gore freaked out.

First album I bought with my own money: Metallica-Master of Puppets

Bought it Summer of '88, after my older brother played me their Garage Days EP. My mom had to go through the lyric sheet to make sure there wasn't too many naughty words.
