here here I bought Scream last summer and it is a definite candidate for number one on this list. I can accept that 10 yrs + album will sound dated buts its the material that doesn't hold up. Pet Sounds too is one of the albums that show up all the bestofs by lazy journos. OK BW is a talented fella but there is just so much other superb music out there to limit it to the best top 10 ever.

I've never thought Ziggy was that great either. One of my least fave DB LP's to be honest, though I actually like it more these days.
I used to think Pet Sounds was over-rated when I first got it many yrs ago. Not now though...

To be pedantic Sally Cinnamon was not on the album. It was released a good two years before then.

Oh, I meant it the other way..Sgt. Pepper's is better than Yellow Submarine but not better than Revolver-Abbey Road otherwise..unless you were joking..

Yeah, I think Pet Sounds is totally deserving of its acclaim..I'm listening to it right now actually..
