Different mix innit? Most albums recorded before around 1967 tend to sound better in mono, as the stereo mixes were artificially created after the fact. "The Velvet Underground & Nico" is another example of this.
You could get the mono mix of "Revolver" on CD at one time, but I don't know if that's still the case - I've got a copy I burned off a friend though.

I agree completely. U2 are and always have been hughly overrated. Bono is a insincere, shallow, talentless no hope. They will however be appluaded for decades (and by dickheads) to come.

In a time when music as we know it was just growing up and going to school.... the Beatles came along and shook it up and turned it round and took it out of short pants and into flairs..... unlike Elvis who is just a cunt in every sense of the word a talentless fat overated wanker if ever there was one!
