Good on ya - myself and Jim Tones are friends with Karl Blake - he was at both the gigs I played last weekend - he's still active -playing with a band in Poland at the moment I believe (not the Peters)

Agreed. West One (Shine On Me) was a blinding cut. In a Rut was brilliant; I can remember the first time i heard it on JP.

Yeah, I used to have a live tape of the Ruts. Don't recall much about it except (i) there was a a very intoxicated sounding person shouting for "savage circle" all the way through; "Yeah we all know who likes savage circle." And (ii) it was fucking great - much more full-on than the studio stuff.

I realise this is an old post, but as a starter, the "All Those Wasted Years" album is a great place to start, and it really fucks me off, when folk mention Guns "N" Roses in the same breath!!!!!!
Pretenders to the throne!

Hanoi, were a fantastic,punk,Rock "n" Roll band!
